Sharepoint has several tools related to backing up and restoring site collections. In this session we will learn how to utilize stsadm to back up the site collection and put it on a scheduler, so that we can restore the site collection in full or site by site.

Becky is the SharePoint Administrator for Terracon Consultants working with all aspects of MOSS from backup strategies to infopath forms to web part creation. She has been working with SharePoint since October 2003, when she attended the Portal University through Levi, Ray, and Shoup. Seems like everyone is getting FeedBurner accounts and I can't blame them, the statistics are awesome. In fact I have been using FeedBurner for about 6 months. One of the nice additions to SubText when we converted was easy integration with FeedBurner so once you configure, GWB will redirect your feed request to FeedBurner. No more need for a post to tell people to change their feeds.
So Jeff, how do we do this? I don't know figure it out yourself like I did... jk
Here are the steps to configuring your Geekswithblogs.net account (or any SubText account) to use a FeedBurner feed instead of the out-of-the-box feed.
1. Login to the Administrator tool for your blog (Login or Admin link at the top of your blog)
2. Click on the Options Tab.
3. Select the Syndication Link.
4. Add your FeedBurner account name in the FeedBurner Name field. (Use the information icon if you don't know your FeedBurner Name)
5. Sit back and let Geekswithblogs.net do everything else. You won't have to alert your readers to anything.

Kent Tegels, of Enjoy Another Sandwich, joined us yesterday to talk about SQL Server and adoption amongst developers and DBAs. During this podcast, Steve Loethen, Microsoft Partner Evangelist, takes on the role as co-host. In this show we talk a lot about CLR Stored Procedures and where they really fit.
Kent is really excited about Spatial support in SQL Server 2008 and it definitely comes through when you talk to him.

This morning we had the opportunity to talk with Steve Loethen, Microsoft Partner Evangelist, about the new brain child CodeToLive.net. Steve talks about why the site was formed, what the target audience is, and how you can get involved. One of the really cool aspects of this site is it is one of the first Channel 9 shows that is developer driven and not Microsoft driven. Definitely check out the show and the site.
On a side note, check out the latest show with myself, John Alexander, and Rob Foster where we talk about SharePoint 2007.
Get it while it is hot!!! Today Microsoft announced that Popfly, a mashup tool built on SilverLight 1.0, has been released for pubic beta consumption. During the HDC event that kicked off today, we recorded a show with Denny Boynton and Javier Lozano about the technology.

Thanks to the wonderful support team at FullControl.net, we are back up with all the missing images. Not sure what happened, but we resolved it with restoring backups of the images. Only 10 minutes lapsed from the time I alerted them to the problem to the time everything was back up.
